NOSTALGIC WRESTLING – WWF IN YOUR HOUSE #1 PAY PER VIEW from 1995 review
In this episode of NOSTALGIC WRESTLING we review the 1995 WWF 1st ever IN YOUR HOUSE pay per view. With ratings beginning to suffer from poor execution of story lines and a continuously diminishing roster of talent, the WWF was struggling to compete with their competition World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
The WWF made the brilliant decision to forgo improving their current product & instead focus on adding a new pay per view concept by offering fans the ability to watch a two-hour WWF pay per view except at an attractive low price in comparison to the standard cost of a regular three-hour PPV. In addition, to garner the attention of more fans, the WWF ran a publicity promotion leading into the pay per view, that during the show there would be a live raffle drawing & one lucky person would win a FREE HOUSE !
Will this gamble work out in their favor? Let’s watch and see.
